Flexi Viewer

Access views of one or more lists or libraries
no matter where they reside on your server

iWorkPlace Flexi Viewer breaks through the SharePoint limitation of being unable to see lists or libraries in one site from any other site. This transforms and simplifies site designs, by allowing different audiences to have the information they need in their site, even if it resides in another. Flexi Viewer gives you:

Anywhere to anywhere
Brings the native views of the list/library into the new location. If the views are updated, the flexi views also update.

Search function built in
This allows the user to filter down the returned list to that which contains any of the displayed metadata in a particular word or phrase.

Aggregate lists and libraries
A small number of lists or libraries can be aggregated into one Flexi View web part. This allows the primary audience to work on their information, while others can see filtered, grouped and sorted views across lists and libraries.

Actions directly available
This includes grouping, filtering, sorting, editing metadata and opening the document (for libraries). Users can also add a new item.

Export list views

A returned list can be exported into formats including pdf and excel. This means that it can be captured as a record in its own right. Organisations uses this for activities such as recording the status of a job or issues list at the end of a month.

Flexi Viewer gets used for::

Controlled Documents. Often one team is responsible for maintaining reports, policies, procedures, contracts etc, while others throughout the organisation need to see, in their own sites, subsets of these documents or lists that pertain to them.

Convenience Views. User adoption is improved when staff can access information “at their fingertips”. Staff can access, group, sort and search a specific list, library or wiki of interest, no matter where it is.

Snapshot a list for record-keeping . A view of a list (eg news, discussion, blogs, active jobs, issues) can be published as a pdf or xls, becoming a record of that list at a certain point in time.
